Book a consultation or take a quiz to get matched with your personal designer. Design your ring over video call and a receive a hand sketch of your ring.
Step 2
Try on your ring at home
Try on your design at home first. Wear it in your daily life to ensure the style is perfect.
Step 3
Modify & Order your final ring
Modify your final ring based on any necessary adjustments following your mock up ring trial.
Once you are ready - the final ring is created at our Calgary workshop and arrives at your doorstep within 4-6 weeks.

POLAR offers you the flexibility to create a unique bespoke ring or choose one of our convenient pre-designed ring styles, and provides a try-on ring for either option you choose.
Our at-home try-on experience allows you to buy your final engagement ring with total confidence. If you choose to create a bespoke ring, you receive one-on-one service from your own personal jewelry designer who will work with you to design your dream ring.
Polar rings are made in Canada by master goldsmiths and sustainably created with with ethically sourced diamonds.
The main difference between our pre-designed rings and custom rings is that our custom rings offer more extensive customization.
Choose the custom ring option if you want a fully custom design experience. Our custom process matches you with an expert jewelry designer who becomes your own personal designer as you create your dream custom ring.
Your designer will provide you hand sketches and/or computer generated designs of your ring based on your style and preferences, before crafting you a custom try-on ring. Finally, our team of gemologists will work with you to select your perfect diamond before building your final ring at our shop in Calgary, AB.
We offer try-on rings of both our custom rings and pre-designed rings so that you can try it at home before you buy.
Once you approve your final ring design (either through a sketch or using our at-home ring try-on service), your final ring will arrive to your doorstep in 5 weeks or less.
Any custom project requiring completion in less than 20 business days may be subject to a rush fee. This additional investment into the labor of love towards your project ensures we can reconcile any adjustments and have the highest quality control in a swift manner to meet your deadline.
Our pre-designed rings and our custom designed rings both start at $1300.
Our pricing reflects the value our clients receive from our exceptional bespoke process. On the flip side, we’re able to keep our prices competitive due to our in-house production.
Polar offers lab-created diamonds, natural diamonds and all other gemstones. Unless otherwise stated, we use lab-created diamonds in all jewelry.

Polar offers a return/exchange policy within 30 days of receiving your pre designed order.
Due to the nature of our custom-crafted rings, once you agree to your final design, we will build your final (non-refundable) ring.
For the first 2 years after your purchase: we cover all costs for any repairs related to your ring. This includes all repairs required due to normal wear and tear and any manufacturing defects.
After 2 years : we offer a limited lifetime warranty. If a manufacturing defect is found, your item will be repaired or replaced free of charge. Your limited lifetime warranty excludes damage caused by normal wear and tear or loss of gemstones.
